The Port of Arendal

A vital part of Eyde Material Park is the port facilities at Eydehavn.
The Port of Arendal has short deviation, deep quays and no height restrictions. At 240 meters long, 40 meters wide, and 15 meters deep the port can accommodate ships up to Panamax size.
The port provides outdoor storage, indoor warehousing, multipurpose cranes, long-term rental opportunities; supplies green shore power and can accommodate all kinds of cargo.
Port of Arendal is closer to the European mainland and charges lower port fees than any other port in Norway.
The port is currently undergoing rapid development so as to better serve Morrow Batteries and other companies. Upon completion of upgrading works, the port will be able to offer 1,5 km of deep-water quays with ro-ro facilities.
From 2027, a daily ferry connection between Arendal Port and Eemshaven is planned, strengthening logistics between Norway and continental Europe.
Eydehavn Green Ammonia
North Ammonia is an ambitious green ammonia supplier with strong industrial owners. The company was established by Arendals Fossekompani and Grieg Maritime Group in 2021 to support a more sustainable maritime and industrial sectors.
At Eydehavn, North Ammonia will develop, build, own and operate the green ammonia production facility and associated infrastructure.
Arendal Port offers rental of area, warehouses, industrial buildings, quays, handling equipment, small boat berths and guest harbour berths. The port offers large mobile harbour cranes, long-term rental; green shore power and handles all types of cargo.
